Seasoned Solutions Tour

Saturday 12th September - Gail Hall of Seasoned Solutions made us the first stop on one of her culinary tours that focused on local producers and culinary heritage East of Edmonton. The two day tour also included stops in Camrose, a bison dinner at the BODO archeaological society, an overnight stop in Provost, Brunch in Lougheed, a visit to the Ruzicka Farm near Killam and the final stop at Beary Berry Honey in Tofield.
Whilst here at our farm, we visited with our free range Berkshire Pigs, and then stepped inside the meat shop to find out how and why the meat tastes different to commercial pork. We sampled cold cuts of ham, hot Cumberland Sausages, Berkshire Kabobs, Smoked Side Bacon and British Back Bacon, all washed down with hot coffee.
